For example, you can look at Operation Overlord; the Illusive Man was never aware of the actual actions that took place there - just as he wasn't aware of the specific details which happend to Jack on her planet. The same goes for many of the companies investors; where I bet that many of the investors have no idea how Cerberus goes about making their technology or getting their research but instead the investors are simply happy enough that Cerberus is getting results.
That is the bottom line with investors in the real world - that the companies they invest in are getting results. They may not know how the results are being made, and they mostly don't take direct oversight to make sure results are done in a moral manner, but that they are getting what they are paying for.
I think Miranda was a deluded idealist, probably even genetically modified to think the best of Cerberus. The Illusive man wasn't evil, but he was clearly too proud, conceited and self-confident in the final stages to realize that he couldn't handle the Reaper Tech or perhaps he was already losing his will having spent too much time in the presence of the Reaper Tech.
It was obvious in the end that he had become indoctrinated and that he had become a puppet of the Reapers like all the other Cerberus Operatives long before him. Depending on the ending, I imagine that Cerberus would self-destruct with anything but the middle ground, but even then I imagine that the damage of the Reapers, the mental and physical alterations would be fatal. The remants would probably continue to be as self-serving and fiercely protective of their secrects as they have always been also because that their methods and ambitions wouldn't serve well with and within the laws and regulations of the Alliance and alien relations.
I've read somewhere that EA said the red ending was the correct ending to the game because the other two are too utopian. Spoiler Alert Bioware actually did an amazing albeit bitter ending to the series. Cerberus likely does not exist anymore due to The Illusive Man's undoing with his need for control.
Now it is possible he sent out someone to colonize in other systems as a back up plan in case the reapers do succeed. Despite Bioware trying to create controversy and mystery over the ending of ME3 it ends with the reapers winning. With how slow the Alliance moves to get things done, I'm not surprised. More topics from this board Legendary edition reveals ME2 is the worst of the triology. Cool Cat Status: Offline. I gave him the base because Garrus pressed my character to do so. He was her LI and someone she trusted and he made a case for it.
When he told her that if she didn't leave the base, everyone on it would have died for nothing, it hit me pretty hard. I knew it was going to have major repercussions in ME3, though. Furthermore, I feel like having much stronger army at my side. By ReubenLiew - Thu Feb 04, pm. Ever looked at your ships, you have slave gangs moving things.
Not only horribly inefficient, it dehumanizes humanity. The goal of the Imperium seems to be putting a halt to the very things that make us human.
Is it better to live a pawn or die free? Maybe you all are right. But the fact is, you can't admit there's a chance you're wrong. We can. Why are you so uncomfortable with ideas? Are you afraid that people will realise their lives are misery?
Maybe if you had a decent government and efficient lifestyles, that wouldn't be an issue. Clearly it's because I can seperate reality from fiction, that's why.

Then I learn that Cerberus eventhough pro-human is concerned about the Reaper threat. Granted they are concerned about the Reapers destroying humanity and don't really care about the other races.
But guess what.
